Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil, butter or ghee
½ yellow onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb ground beef
3 cups green cabbage, chopped
24 oz marinara sauce (less sugar is better)
2 cups frozen cauliflower rice (or ½ cup uncooked white rice)
4 cups beef broth (Kettle & Fire recommended)
1 tsp salt (more to taste)
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
Chopped fresh spinach
2 tsp coconut aminos
1 tsp red pepper flakes
½ tsp cinnamon
Optional Additions:
Toss in 1 cup cooked carrots with the onion for extra veggies.
Garnish with fresh Rosemary or a dollop of sour cream.
Instructions
Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef, cooking 3–5 minutes until browned.
Stir in garlic and onion, sautéing another 2–3 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium.
Simmer 15–20 minutes, until cabbage is tender and rice (if used) is cooked.
