Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp olive oil, butter or ghee

  • ½ yellow onion, diced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 3 cups green cabbage, chopped

  • 24 oz marinara sauce (less sugar is better)

  • 2 cups frozen cauliflower rice (or ½ cup uncooked white rice)

  • 4 cups beef broth (Kettle & Fire recommended)

  • 1 tsp salt (more to taste)

  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning

  • Chopped fresh spinach

  • 2 tsp coconut aminos

  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Optional Additions:

Toss in 1 cup cooked carrots with the onion for extra veggies.

Garnish with fresh Rosemary or a dollop of sour cream.

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

  2. Add ground beef, cooking 3–5 minutes until browned.

  3. Stir in garlic and onion, sautéing another 2–3 minutes.

  4. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium.

  5. Simmer 15–20 minutes, until cabbage is tender and rice (if used) is cooked.

  6. Enjoy!!
